Fees for the Academic Year
starting Autumn 2006
For overseas students (other than EU):
£7,000 for both stages of this course
inclusive of all learning materials but
excluding travel to and accommodation
during any residential workshops. For
holders of the CIM Diploma a "fast
track" route (with exemption from
Integrated Marketing Communications,
International Marketing Strategy and
Strategic Marketing Planning) is
available, the fee being £4,400.
For UK and EU student fees please
contact our Course Administrator.
While it is expected that most
students undertaking the full course
will complete in two years, students may
choose to extend their studies over
three years. For students requiring more
than three years to complete the course
an extension of registration fee will be
charged.
Paying your Tuition Fees
Arrangements to pay your tuition fees
must be agreed before enrolment and can
be completed before you begin attending
the course.
However, it is also possible to pay your
fees in two instalments. Payments by
credit card, bank transfer, banker's
draft or cheque (in pounds sterling) can
be accepted. Details of payment methods
will be provided once you have accepted
an offer of a place at the University.
Deposits
All students entering postgraduate
courses are required to pay a deposit of
£250 to secure their place on the
course. This deposit must be paid within
four weeks of acceptance of an offer, or
by enrolment if the enrolment date is
less than four weeks from the offer
being made.
Deposits will normally only be refunded
if you cannot meet the conditions of
your offer, and/ or, for non-EU
students, if you are not granted a visa
to come to the UK (subject to reasons of
refusal). In both cases proof will be
required.
Discounts
If you are an international (non-EU)
student and you pay the full amount of
your tuition fees at enrolment, you will
be entitled to a reduction of 5%. All
Bournemouth University graduates (first
degree or above) proceeding to enrol on
a further course are eligible for a 5%
"loyalty" discount on the published fee
for the first year of any given course.
The maximum discount available to an
individual student, in any one academic
year, should not normally exceed 10% of
the published fee.
What does your Tuition Fee cover?
The tuition fee covers all academic
matters, membership and use of the
library and use of our open access
computer laboratories. The fees do not
include stationery or course books,
field trips (if applicable), or
graduation costs.
